You want your body and your mind to slow down
Swedish massage is the right call if you are not chasing a specific injury, you just need your body and your head to slow down. It is closer to a meditation than a treatment, long, steady strokes that bring your nervous system down a gear, not just your muscles.
Start with 60, go 90 for more.
60 minutes is a full reset. If you want more time to slow down, or a little extra attention somewhere, 90 minutes gives you room to breathe.
Essential Reset
A complete, unhurried reset in an hour, plenty for most people looking to unwind.
Holistic Balance
More time to slow all the way down, with room to work in a tighter spot if one comes up.
Ultimate Renewal
The longest, deepest version of the same relaxation, for when your whole body needs the reset.
What actually happens during a Swedish massage
Long, gliding strokes, kneading, and light-to-medium pressure, moving with the direction of blood flow back toward the heart. It is technical work, it just does not feel technical, which is the point.
Why lighter pressure still does something real
Lighter does not mean it is not working. Swedish massage improves circulation, eases everyday muscle tension, and gives your nervous system a real break from a body that has been running on stress all week.

The most requested first massage, for good reason
I am Mickie, a licensed massage therapist with 6+ years and thousands of sessions behind me. Swedish is where most first-time clients start, and it is still one of the most requested sessions from people who already know exactly what they need: a real reset. If you know you need something firmer, deep tissue or therapeutic massage might be the better starting point.
A relaxing hour can still be real, technical work, that is the whole point of doing it right.
What a Swedish session looks like here.
Slower pace, real conversation, still built around you.
We Talk First
What is stressing your body out and what you want out of the hour.
We Set a Slow Pace
Long, flowing strokes at a pressure that lets your whole body actually let go.
We Follow Your Lead
If a spot needs more attention we slow down there, without losing the relaxing feel.
You Leave Reset
Looser muscles, a calmer mind, and better sleep that night.
It uses long, gliding strokes, kneading, and light-to-medium pressure to relax the muscles and calm the nervous system. It is the most common starting point for massage therapy.
Both. It genuinely improves circulation and eases everyday tension, it just does not feel as intense as deep tissue work while it is doing it.
Light to medium by default, and you stay in control the whole time. We can go firmer in specific areas if you want.
Yes, it is the gentlest way to try professional massage, and we can always add more targeted work like deep tissue once you know how your body responds.
Yes, this happens constantly in a 90-minute Holistic Balance session, Swedish strokes blended with deep tissue or trigger point work wherever you need it.
